The AAU Region VIII Meet will be held in Joplin, MO from June 26 - June 29, 2008.
MSSU Fred Hughes Stadium will host the racewalks, steeplechase and Young Men's discus on Friday evening, June 27th. All other track & field events will be June 28th & June 29th at MSSU Fred Hughes Stadium.
DIRECTIONS TO MEET SITE:
The Track & Field Championships will take place in Joplin, Missouri at Missouri Southern State University at Fred Hughes Stadium located by taking Range Line/Business 71 to Newman Road. Go east 1 mile and you cannot miss the stadium.
NOTE: All racewalk & steeplechase competitors automatically qualify for the AAU Region VIII Track & Field Meet. There will be a Primary 4x100 relay run at all district, Region 8 and National meets this year. If the Primary 4x100 is scheduled for a meet, Primary may not run up with the Bantams as they have in the past. There will be no Primary 4x400 so the Primary may run up with the Bantams for that relay.
POLE VAULTER ENTRIES: All pole vaulters & decathletes must fill out and sign their weight verification document before arriving to compete.
